Unpopular opinion: I get better info from reading reviews than watching them

I mean, when I was picking a smartwatch, I spent hours on video reviews that felt like filler. They show the same clips of someone tapping the screen, and you have to sit through all that. I switched to written posts and found clear lists of pros and cons in minutes. Some folks say videos help them see the size or how it works, but text lets me skip to what matters, like battery life or bugs. Last week, I read a blog post that pointed out a charging issue no video even mentioned. Maybe it's just me, but I think reading is faster for making a choice. What do you all prefer, videos or articles?

Which types of products do you find written reviews are most useful for? Like is it just tech stuff or everything?

Honestly @jana_lewis16, reviews only matter for big buys like a mattress, not for stuff like a phone charger.
