Just realized everyone's testing the wrong thing on those new smart bulbs
I keep seeing reviews that only check the color range and app speed, but nobody is talking about the 2.4GHz WiFi band congestion. My whole network in Austin slowed down after adding just three bulbs, and the router logs show constant tiny data packets. If you have a lot of devices, this is a real problem that ruins the whole setup. Has anyone else found a brand that doesn't flood your network like this?

@thomas_black81 that's a solid band name. You're totally right about the network flood, it's a hidden dealbreaker. I switched to Zigbee bulbs and my wifi is way better now.
