Remember when you could just buy a can of varnish at the hardware store? Found a 20 year old can in my dad's garage and the stuff inside is still good.

Man, that stuff was basically nuclear waste. No wonder it lasts forever.

Yeah, it explains why my old tupperware from the 80s outlived my last three relationships... that stuff is indestructible. They probably made it with the same stuff they used for the space shuttle tiles. I'm half convinced if you buried some, future archaeologists would find it and think we worshipped plastic rectangles.
