Just realized my old hourly rate was killing my freelance writing business

I switched to project-based pricing 4 months ago and my income went up 30% because I stopped getting nickel-and-dimed on revisions. Anyone else find that moving away from hourly saved their sanity?

Yeah, the scope creep thing is real. I put a clear revision limit in my contract now, like two rounds of edits are included. Anything after that gets a new quote. It makes clients think before asking for tiny changes.
