6 months ago I was taking any $50 logo job that came my way

Now I only work with clients who have a real budget and a clear brief. It took me getting burned on three projects in a row where people kept asking for endless revisions for free. I finally sat down and wrote out minimum rates and a scope of work document before starting anything new. Lost a few potential gigs at first, but the ones I land now pay way better and take less time. The shift happened after a client asked me to redesign their entire brand identity for the same flat fee we agreed on. Has anyone else had to fire a client to make room for better paying work?

Yeah but scope creep happens even with clear briefs sometimes (speaking from experience).

Totally feel that. I always try to get a "scope freeze" in writing after a certain point, even if it feels awkward. Saves so many headaches later when they try to add one more thing.
