Just realized how much slower pattern making used to be
Back then, carving wooden patterns by hand could take weeks for a tricky piece. These days, CNC machines do it in a day or two. I kind of miss the old handwork, but not the long waits for projects to finish. It made planning a big job feel like a marathon, not a sprint.

Nah, the speed is better for the craft. Lets you fix mistakes fast and actually play with more ideas instead of getting stuck on one piece for ages.
