A veteran caster at the Tacoma plant told me my runner system looked 'like a nervous spiderweb' and I finally saw why my yield was low.
I switched to a single, thicker main runner with short, straight gates after that, and my scrap rate dropped from about 15% to under 5% on those aluminum brackets.
