Why not glue the furniture down?

Glue it down and guarantee I'll change my mind about the layout next week. My need to rearrange things at 2am is stronger than any adhesive known to man. I'd just end up with a bunch of ripped up laminate and a permanent coffee table in a spot that suddenly feels all wrong. It's a commitment issue, but with sofas.
