I thought that new glue was just marketing hype until a job in Phoenix

Had to lay 800 square feet of engineered wood in a house with a concrete slab that was still a bit damp. The old stuff I always used said it needed 72 hours to cure dry. This new brand claimed 24 hours, even on concrete. I was sure it would fail. We put it down on a Thursday, came back Friday, and it was solid. No lift, no smell, nothing. Has anyone else had to trust a product like that under a tight deadline?

Yeah, that "24 hours on concrete" claim would make me nervous too. I had a similar panic last fall with a basement job. The old school glue needed days to dry, but we had to get the trim and cabinets in. Used a new fast set and it was walkable the next morning. I mean, I still checked every seam, but it held. Sometimes you just have to go with it.

So what brand was it? I'm always looking for stuff that actually works like it says.
