I finally fixed a crooked picture frame with a half-eaten granola bar
Was at my friend's place in Austin last weekend and his leaning painting drove me nuts for two hours before I realized a chewed-up corner of the bar wedged behind the frame actually leveled it, so has anyone else used food as a shim or am I the only one desperate enough to try this?

My buddy Kevin tried to level his whole entertainment center with a slice of pepperoni once. He was watching the game at his place and that thing was wobbling so bad his drink kept sloshing. He just grabbed a pepperoni off the pizza box and shoved it under one leg. Worked great for like two days until his dog sniffed it out and ate it. Whole setup crashed over and took his console with it.

That pepperoni must've been one greasy little workhorse to hold up a whole entertainment center for two days. Honestly, Kevin sounds like the kind of guy who thinks through problems about as well as a toddler with a butter knife. Dog probably just saw it as a free snack and went for it, which is honestly the most predictable part of this whole disaster. Kinda surprised the console was the only casualty and not the TV too, if it was that wobbly to begin with. Bet he invested in some actual furniture pads after that, or at least started hiding the pizza from his dog.
