Our block party accidentally became a fermented food potluck
Last weekend, our block party had everyone bring homemade fermented dishes. It was fun, but now I get tons of questions about my kombucha. How do you deal when neighbors keep asking for fermentation help?

Has anyone thought about how this might actually make your block closer? I mean now you've got this whole shared hobby thing going on.

Actually, what if it backfires and makes things more tense? Like if someone's tools go missing or someone's yard gets messed up during a project. Now instead of just neighbors, you've got business partners who can get really upset over borrowed stuff not returned. It could turn small issues into big grudges real fast. You ever feel guilty for not joining in every single time? That pressure's no joke.
