My buddy found this hideous lamp at a yard sale, right? His wife was gonna toss it, but it turned out to be some designer piece worth like two grand.

My cousin Sarah bought a chipped green vase for five bucks at a flea market last year. She just liked the color and used it for dried flowers. Turns out it was an early piece from a local artist who got famous, and she sold it online for over a thousand. Her husband still jokes about how he almost dropped it while moving the couch. Makes you wonder what else is sitting in people's basements, right?
