Found a hidden pocket trick for skirts that changed everything
I was making a simple A-line skirt last week and kept hating how the side pockets bulged out. Tried cutting the pocket bag on the bias instead of straight grain and it lays totally flat now. Has anyone else messed with pocket grain lines to fix fit issues?

Honestly, that pocket bulge struggle is so real, I feel you. Did you notice if the bias cut changed how the pocket holds up over time, like after washing? I tried a similar fix on a pair of wide leg pants and it worked perfectly, but I had to reinforce the seam a bit because it felt flimsy.
