Wasted $80 on a cheap rasp that chipped after 2 weeks

Picked up a no-name rasp off Amazon for $80 thinking I was being smart saving money. After about 15 horses it started chipping bad and now it's basically useless for anything besides rough work. Have any of you guys had luck with the cheaper rasps or should I just suck it up and get a Nicholson?

Are you really that upset about $80 though? Feels like a lot of drama for something that still works for rough stuff.
