Spent $80 on a fancy tool roll and it was worse than my old cardboard box

I bought this expensive canvas tool roll online because everyone said it would keep my screwdrivers organized. After 2 weeks the straps started fraying and the pockets stretched out so bad my chisels kept sliding out. My old beat up cardboard box with dividers cut from a cereal box held them tighter and cost nothing. Am I missing something or are these things just for looking good on Instagram?

You hit on something with that duct tape wallet. The fancier something looks the worse it usually works for actual use. I did the same thing with a waxed canvas apron. Looked great hanging on the peg board but the cheap cotton one from the hardware store has more pockets that actually hold tools in place. The expensive stuff is designed for people who want to look like they work instead of people who actually work.
