Saw a clever way to organize drill bits at the hardware store in Tacoma
I was at the Tacoma Hardware store last week looking for a new set of bits. A guy next to me had an old metal index card box he was using to sort them all by size. He told me he labeled each divider with a marker and it kept everything from getting lost in his bag. It looked way better than the plastic case mine came in, which always pops open. Has anyone tried something similar with other small tools?

Ever see those old wooden recipe boxes? My buddy Dave uses one for all his tiny screwdriver bits. He sanded it down and painted it red, then made little cardboard slots inside. Says it's the only way he can find the Phillips head bits when he's fixing his kid's toys. The plastic trays they come in always crack on him.

Hah, Dave's got the right idea. My bits are all loose in a coffee can, I spend more time digging for the right one than actually fixing stuff.
