Ran into an old neighbor at the laundromat who showed me how to fix a sticky vacuum roller with a butter knife and a pair of scissors
He just whipped out the knife, scraped off all the hair and thread wrapped around the brush roll in about 30 seconds flat, and told me to do that every couple of months so the motor doesn't burn out. has anyone else found a quick tool around the house that saves your appliances?

Haha, yep, I use a butter knife on my vacuum all the time, works like a charm.
