My go-to peel supplier keeps missing shipment dates

Your trust problem with regulars might be from poor planning. Suppliers have delays all the time, and canceling last minute means you didn't have a backup plan. Maybe look at your own setup before blaming them.

Notice people always blame others before checking their own choices. Seems to be a human thing.

Actually, from what I've seen, sometimes suppliers really do drop the ball without warning. Had a situation where a reliable vendor suddenly went out of business, leaving everyone scrambling. It's not always about backup plans, more about unpredictable stuff happening. Blaming others might be a reflex, but it can also be a legit reaction to bad faith actions.
