Nothing beats finding a thank you note after fixing a stuck elevator
A resident left it in the control panel. It really brightened my day. Shows that our efforts don't go unnoticed.

You mentioning that note reminds me of my buddy who does handyman work. He fixed a squeaky door for an elderly neighbor last month. A week later he found a thank you card tucked under his coffee tin on the porch, with a couple homemade cookies wrapped up. He said it made him feel like a superhero for a whole day, you know? Just that little bit of "I see you" stuff.

Used to think people left notes like that just to be polite, but hearing @martin.nancy mention his buddy and those homemade cookies kinda made me reconsider. Guess a simple thank you really does go a long way.
