The 48th Ave bakery made me ditch my usual breakfast spot
Went to Bon Ton Bakery last Tuesday on a coworker's tip. Got their butter tart and a rye loaf. The tart crust was flaky, not the soggy mess I usually get. My old place on 124th cost me $9 for a sad muffin and coffee. This place ran me $7.50 and I actually felt full. Anyone else find a hidden gem that beat their regular go-to?

i mean the butter tart alone is worth switching bakeries for. flaky crust is such a rare win around here, most places give you that soggy bottom mess. honestly, sounds like you found a keeper, 124th street can stay in the rearview.
