The great caulk gun standoff of my bathroom redo

I had to pick between a cheap drip-free model from the hardware store and a nicer one my friend loaned me, which he swore by. I went with the cheap one, and halfway through sealing the tub, the release lever snapped clean off, leaving a solid bead of white silicone across my floor. Anyone have a good fix for dried caulk on vinyl plank, or should I just call it a feature?

Have you tried a plastic scraper and some rubbing alcohol? That combo usually works for me.

Oh man, I've been there with the alcohol and a scraper... it's a lifesaver.
