My brother-in-law called my caulk gun a 'glue gun' and it made me stop and think
He was helping me redo a bathroom in his place and asked for the 'big glue gun' when we were sealing the tub. I realized I've been using the same cheap, drippy caulk gun for ten years without a second thought. What's one basic tool you've been using forever that you should probably just upgrade?

My dad's old claw hammer has a cracked handle he wrapped in electrical tape. It works fine until you need to pull a nail, then the head wobbles. I keep it for sentiment but grab a decent one for real jobs.

Tried filling the crack with wood glue and clamping it overnight, worked way better than the tape lol.
