Just realized I've been taping wrong after watching a guy in Phoenix
I was on a job in Tempe last month and saw this older installer, Frank, using a 6 inch knife for his first coat on inside corners instead of a 5 inch. He said it gives a wider bed and saves a step. I tried it on a bathroom ceiling this week and it actually laid down way smoother. Anyone else use a bigger knife for that first pass?
