Update: My last project had exactly 47 unique layers in the final CAD file.

I was just cleaning up the archive and realized that number, which seems crazy high until you remember the client kept asking for 'just one more' tiny revision on the electrical overlay for their custom machine shop in Toledo.

My Toledo client once had 37 layers just for conduit routing notes.

Wow, that reminds me of a CAD file I saw with layers for every single light fixture type.
