Had to choose between a $300 drafting table lamp or just getting my office windows cleaned

I picked the window cleaning, and the natural light is way better for my eyes than any bulb. Anyone else find a simple fix that beat out a fancy tool purchase?

Honestly, I would have gone for the lamp a few years ago. A clear window is such a basic upgrade that it's easy to overlook, but you're right, the light quality is completely different.
