Compared two CAD programs side by side for a week and one was clearly faster

I use Fusion 360 at home and recently had to use DraftSight at a client's office near Dayton. After a week of switching back and forth, I realized how much faster I am in Fusion 360 for 3D modeling. The interface is more intuitive and the parametric tools just flow better for me. Has anyone else tried both and ended up sticking with one over the other?

oh man, i had this exact same thing happen to me last year. i was stuck using DraftSight at a shop for a few weeks and it felt like everything took twice as long. the way Fusion handles sketches and extrudes just clicks in my brain better. with DraftSight i kept hunting for where the fillet tool was hiding or why the constraints were acting weird. it's one of those things where you don't realize how much time you save with muscle memory until you lose it.

Hold on, is it really that big of a deal? I mean yeah, muscle memory is a thing, but it takes what, a day or two to re-learn where the fillet button is? I've bounced between SolidWorks, Fusion, and even a little Onshape and while it's annoying for the first few hours, I wouldn't say it made everything take twice as long. Your mileage may vary, but I feel like a lot of that slowdown is just the initial grumpiness of not knowing where stuff is, not the tool actually being worse. After a week I bet you'd be back up to speed. Just seems like a rough patch, not a life-altering setback.
