My Dollar Store Brunch Set Off a Smoke Alarm at Whole Foods
I was heating up a $1.25 can of chili and a 99 cent cornbread mix in the break room microwave on Tuesday, and the smoke detector went off so loud that the store manager ran in yelling 'who brought the gas station food in here,' so now I only test instant ramen combos at home before work.

At least the store manager got a free floor show with his dollar store chili. Next time just microwave a single cornbread square and call it a candle, way less drama and it might actually set off the right kind of alarm. Honestly, gas station food is a compliment compared to whatever smoked out a Whole Foods break room. Your ramen tests are smart, just remember to bring a fan next time.
