Finally settled the debate between laminate and LVP in my basement

I put in a sample of each in my Cincinnati basement for a month to see which held up against the humidity and occasional water from the sump pump. The LVP won hands down because the laminate started curling at the edges after just two weeks. Anyone else find LVP holds up better in basements than they expected?

Huh, I always thought laminate was tougher, but you just proved me wrong with that edge curling test.
