Just realized that bag of crack filler I bought was from 2011
I was patching a pothole near my mailbox in Columbus and noticed the caulk tube had a date code stamped on the bottom. Looked it up on my phone, turns out that stuff expires after a year or so. All my winter repairs kept popping back up every spring, now I know why. Has anyone else tried using older sealant and wondered why it never held?
