The basement sale at ReStore last fall is why I finally ditched zip ties for velcro straps on my cable tray.
Picked up a 50-foot roll of adhesive velcro for 3 bucks from a bin labeled 'random office stuff' and now I can actually swap out a monitor cable without cutting anything, has anyone found a cheaper alternative to those J-channel raceways?

Did you look near the molding aisle or was it just sitting with the other random hardware stuff? I've been meaning to check if they ever have those toggler wall anchors in the bulk bins, cause buying a whole box for one shelf bracket feels wasteful.

The ReStore is honestly a goldmine for this kind of stuff, I love it. I grabbed a big spool of adhesive cable clips there for like a dollar and they still hold up my desk wires no problem. That velcro score is amazing though, I've been using zip ties for years and getting so annoyed having to cut them every time I move a monitor. I bet you could find those J-channel raceways in the hardware section if you look near the baseboard stuff, sometimes they have single pieces for cheap. What section did you find the velcro in, just the random bins up front?
