Spent a whole Saturday doing an oil change myself and saved 60 bucks

I was gonna take my 2012 Honda Civic to the quick lube place near my apartment in Dallas, but decided to just do it in my parking lot. Turned out the drain plug was only hand tight from last time and probably would have vibrated loose on the highway. Has anyone else found scary stuff like that after trusting a shop?

Didn't you used to trust those guys completely? Me too, until I found a loose filter.

My cousin Phil found a loose screw in his blender last week and now he's convinced the whole company is crooked. @betty_stone2, maybe we're all just one loose part away from losing faith in everything.
