Tbh, I thought my $20 Milwaukee tape measure was fine until I dropped it off a second story roof in Phoenix last Tuesday.
Honestly, the magnet tip saved it from hitting the ground, and now I get why everyone says to spend a bit more on tools that can take a fall, has anyone else had a tool survive a drop that should have wrecked it?

Ever have a tool survive a fall because you're too clumsy to hold onto it? My old hammer bounced off concrete so many times it's basically a test dummy. Thing's still kicking, guess I got lucky.
