Used to think chain cleaning meant a quick wipe, but after my chain snapped on a steep hill in Denver, I switched to a full degrease and re-lube every 150 miles.
Is a deep clean worth the extra 20 minutes, or is a surface clean with a rag good enough for most casual riding?
