Saw a guy in a coworking space in Chiang Mai using three monitors on a folding table and it held up fine
His setup was a $50 table from the local hardware store and he's been using it for 8 months without any wobble, has anyone else found cheap furniture that actually works for your mobile office?

Keep an eye on the humidity in Chiang Mai though. I've seen cheap particle board furniture swell up and fall apart after a few wet seasons. The folding legs can rust out from the inside too if that table sits on a concrete floor. Might work fine for now but cheap metal and constant moisture is a bad combo long term.

@the_barbara you're so right about that concrete floor thing. I had a cheap metal shelf unit in my garage that looked fine for two years then one day the legs just crumbled from the inside out. It dumped a whole bunch of paint cans everywhere. Moisture wicks up through the concrete and rusts everything from the bottom. Same thing happens with those folding chairs that have those little rubber feet, the metal rots right where it touches the floor. Particle board is honestly a ticking time bomb in any humid place, I've seen desks just turn into mush after one rainy season.
