Why does nobody talk about the pressure to post new art every single day?

Three years ago, I joined a big art challenge that said to make one piece daily for a month. Last week, I looked back at those files and honestly, maybe five of the thirty are any good. The rest feel rushed and empty, like I was just filling a calendar slot. Has anyone else felt this grind actually hurt their work instead of helping?

Yeah, I quit those daily challenges for that exact reason. Isn't it better to make one good piece a week than thirty forgettable ones?

My buddy tried to do Inktober for three years straight and burned out so bad he didn't draw for six months after the last one. He said forcing himself to finish a piece every night just made him hate his own sketchbook.
