That $60 drawing tablet from Amazon was a total waste of money
I bought one of those cheap no-name tablets off Amazon for like $60 back in March. The pen stopped working after maybe 2 weeks and the driver software was basically malware. I ended up just using my mouse for a month before I caved and got a proper used Wacom for $150. Has anyone else gotten burned by those budget tablets or did I just pick the wrong one?

Double down on what you said about the drivers. Those cheap tablets are basically stealing your data while you try to draw, it's a nightmare to get them uninstalled. You made the right call going with a used Wacom, those things are tanks and you can find them for not much more than the junk ones.

Yeah, that driver stuff is sketchy as hell, honestly scares me how much they sneak in there too. Really glad you got out of that mess with a solid backup plan.

Used to think the cheap tablets were a good deal honestly, but seeing how much data they sneak out changed my mind real quick. The constant pop ups and weird permissions they ask for just aren't worth saving a few bucks. Makes me wish I'd listened to people warning about this stuff sooner.
