My old art teacher said to stop deleting layers, and it made me rethink my whole workflow
I was showing my old art teacher a piece last Tuesday at a coffee shop in Portland and she pointed at my layer panel and said "you're afraid of commitment." She meant I keep 40 plus layers because I can't decide on a single brush stroke, and that fear shows up in the flat look of my final pieces. Has anyone else had someone call out their layer hoarding like that?
