Just realized my tablet's screen recorder is the best critique tool
I kept second-guessing my brush strokes until I recorded a 10 minute speedpaint in Clip Studio and watched it back at 2x speed, suddenly every hesitation and over-correction was obvious. Has anyone else found that watching their own process in reverse order reveals stuff they never noticed while drawing?

Wait, when you say reverse order do you mean actually rewatching it backwards? Because that would just look like your painting un-painting itself and that sounds confusing as hell lol. If you mean just watching the playback after the fact at higher speed, then yeah that makes total sense. The over-corrections really do jump out when you see them all stacked together like that, it's wild how blind we go while actually in the middle of painting.
