Just had a 6.7 Powerstroke fight me for three hours over a turbo sensor

Last Thursday at the shop, a 2015 F-350 came in with a limp mode code for the VGT actuator. I figured it was a quick swap, but the bolt on the up-pipe bracket was seized solid. Ended up cutting it with a Dremel after soaking it in PB Blaster for an hour. The new sensor fixed it, but man, those tight spots behind the cab are a pain. Anyone got a better trick for those rusted bracket bolts besides just cutting them out?

Ugh, that sounds like a nightmare. I swear those trucks are built to fight you on every little part. My buddy just sold his because he got tired of the constant little battles.

Honestly, what's the big deal with a three hour fight? That's just a standard Tuesday on a high-mileage diesel. Those sensors are in a tough spot by design to handle the heat, and a seized bolt is just normal wear. Sometimes you just have to put in the time with the right tools and stop expecting every job to be easy. Cutting it out was the correct move, not some crazy story.
