The "just use a password manager" crowd need to shut up for a minute
I get it, password managers are great, but they aren't some magic fix for everything. My 68 year old dad tried using one after I set it up for him, and he locked himself out of his bank account twice in one month because he couldn't figure out the autofill on his phone. Plus what about those times you're on a public computer at a library or a hotel business center? You can't exactly pull up your manager there. Has anyone else had to deal with explaining this stuff to someone who just isn't tech savvy?

Set the autofill to require a manual tap on the field before it pops up, that way he can see what's happening. For public computers, just keep a small notebook with the passwords written down in your pocket for those situations.

A physical notebook in your pocket for passwords? That's honestly more terrifying to me than any autofill setup.
