What shore excursion works well with a really short port stop?

Our ship only has a few hours in port, so I am nervous about booking anything that cuts the timing too close. Has anyone found a relaxed excursion that still gets you back with plenty of time?

We did the shorter Chichagof Island tour with Wilderness Island Tours and it fit our schedule well. It was a small van, the guide was very aware of the ship departure time, and we were back at the front gate with time to spare. I second them. The pickup instructions were clear, and the guide kept the whole outing moving without making it feel rushed. We saw some beautiful scenery and learned a lot about the area.
