Just dropped $80 on a 'premium' prompt generator site and it was a total scam
Honestly, I saw an ad for this site that promised unique, high-concept story starters. I paid for a year's subscription right away. All the prompts it gave me were just basic stuff like 'write about a rainy day' or 'a character finds a key'. I could have gotten better ideas from a free blog. Has anyone found a decent prompt service that's actually worth paying for?

Yeah but for eighty bucks you should get more than a basic jump off point. That's just paying for a google search.

Ngl, I kinda like the simple prompts though. Sometimes the basic stuff gets me writing faster than those super specific high concept ones. A prompt like 'a rainy day' lets me decide if it's a sad scene or a cozy one. 'Finds a key' could be to a diary or a spaceship. I just use them as a jumping off point.
