Figured out a way to level out those uneven pads without busting out the cribbing every time

My wheel loader bucket scoop of sand at the base before setting the outriggers has been saving me a solid 20 minutes per job this week after I got tired of stacking 2x stock on a sloped site in Pittsburgh, anyone else use dirt or gravel instead of wood on rough ground?

Hell yeah, that's slick. Once you get the hang of using the dirt under the outriggers it's almost like cheating, beats messing with lumber any day around here.

2x4s were a pain on a job last month. @robert248, once I tried digging down and using the dirt pad like you said, it saved me a ton of time.
