Watched a finisher in Tulsa pull a 40 foot slab without a single edger pass, and I finally get why my burn marks keep showing up
Turns out I was working the magnesium too early on hot days and trapping bleed water under the surface, so now I wait for the sheen to go flat before I touch it, anyone else timing their first pass by color instead of the clock?

Color reading beats the clock any day, but calling one slab a fix for all your burn marks is a stretch. Humidity, mix, and wind change the timing every pour, so a flat sheen today might not mean squat tomorrow.
