Totally get what you mean about photos not doing it justice. I saw a deep metallic flake in a parking lot last week and just stood there staring like an idiot. It's a whole different thing in sunlight.

Yeah the ice cream mix up is so real. I used to think those finishes were kinda cheap looking in photos. Totally changed my mind when I saw one up close on an actual car.

Man I've gotta be honest, I really don't get the hype around those metallic finishes. They just look like someone spilled glitter on their clear coat to me.
