That $20 thermal paste spreader turned into a $300 motherboard mistake
Bought one of those fancy metal spreaders off Amazon and it scratched my CPU socket pins on my Ryzen build, had to replace the whole board. Has anyone else ditched the tools and just gone back to the pea method?

Pea method never fails, those spreaders are just fancy scrapers.
