Hit 50 solved tickets last month and it surprised me how much it mattered

I always figured ticket count was just a number to hit for management, but when I saw 50 solved on my dashboard in December it actually felt good. Seeing that many people helped in a month made me realize I’m making a real difference, not just fixing computers. Has anyone else hit a milestone that changed how you see your work?

actually the thing that nobody seems to talk about is how hitting a number like that changes the way you approach your work. once you see that you can actually knock out 50 tickets, you stop treating them like individual problems and start looking for the patterns. like after a certain point you realize you're not just fixing one computer at a time, you're learning what keeps breaking and how to stop it from happening again. it shifts your whole mindset from putting out fires to preventing them in the first place. that's the real win that nobody notices until they hit a number like that themselves.
