Borrowed a tile saw from the library and it saved my bathroom remodel

I needed to cut porcelain tiles for a small bathroom wall and didn't want to drop $200 on a saw I'd use once. The community tool library had a wet saw I reserved for 3 days, and it worked perfectly even on the tricky corners. Has anyone else had good luck borrowing specialty tools for one-off projects?

WAIT hold up, the LIBRARY had a wet saw?? I thought they only had like books and DVDs and maybe some beat up hammers. That's actually wild to me, I'm sitting here trying to figure out how they even store that thing. Is it like behind the checkout desk or do they have a whole separate room for power tools now? I need to check my library's website ASAP because I've been putting off a tile backsplash for months thinking I'd have to rent one from Home Depot or something.

Oh man, I used to think library tool lending was just for like drills and basic stuff. But that wet saw idea is genius, seriously changed my mind on what's worth borrowing.
