Oh man, I feel this. I used to think being super flexible was the only way to get people together. Then I ran a volunteer thing and learned the hard way. If you offer too many choices, everyone argues. Now I just pick two dates and say "this or that." It gets way more done. People just want a decision made for them sometimes.

Our team meetings used to drag on forever picking dates. I started sending a poll with just two options and attendance jumped 40%. You're right, limiting the choice forces action.
