Can we talk about how people give advice on local Facebook groups?

I noticed so many replies just say 'call a pro' without any actual help, which defeats the whole point of a community advice space. For example, someone asked about a noisy furnace blower and the top comment was literally 'hire an HVAC guy, period'. Has anyone else found a group that actually gives useful steps to try first?

Call a pro" is sometimes the only safe advice though.
